Why the Cricut Maker is Great for Card Makers and Papercrafters

If you’re a card maker or paper crafter you’ll want to get the Cricut Maker! Why? Two words QuickSwap Tools!

The Maker exerts more pressure than the other models. Meaning no more faint score lines with the QuickSwap housing and scoring wheel tips! Want to score kraftboard or 110lb cardstock? Use the double scoring wheel tips. You can also score acetate with the double scoring wheel. The scoring wheel tips were the main reason I bought the Maker. No more scoring stylus and faint score lines. Yay!

Since the Maker exerts more pressure you can now deboss with the QuickSwapDebossing tip. Don’t get this confused with embossing. Debossing is an impression that doesn’t go all the way through cardstock. It doesn’t leave a raised impression, but an indented impression of the image or text. Many cool effects you can combine with debossing.

And lastly the Perforation Blade tip! This one is pretty cool. Create cards with hidden messages that have tear-offs or peel-aways. How about a box that can only be opened with a tear-off pull tab? So many creative uses for it!

Until Wednesday, if you are a Cricut Access subscriber you can get the QuickSwap Tools Everything Bundle for 40% OFF and an Extra 10% OFF!
