My Favorite And Most Used Adhesives & Glues For Cardmaking

My Most Favorite
TomBow Multi Mono Liquid Glue - I use it for most everything I glue onto my cards. I love how it doesn’t dry fast, so if the card matting is a bit askew, I can peel it back up and fix it without ripping the cardstock. Once it dries it’s permanent. It doesn’t wrinkle paper.   ~ Squeeze and Roll Pen - I use this for thin words/letters or images like a line image.
  ~ Chisel Tip Pen - I use this for mostly for intricate background images.

• 3L Scrapbook Adhesive Foam Square Black & White - I use these to give images or text on my card depth and dimension. The black is good for using on card bases that are a dark color and the white is good for light color card bases. I go through white the most.

• American Crafts Sticky Thumb Foam Dots - I use these the same as the foam squares. Sometimes you just need dots instead of squares. Link to Buy: https://amzn.to/2xUwx1R
  
• 3M Scotch Foam Mounting Tape - I use this for shaker cards or on cards that need a long continuous strip of foam. Link to Buy: https://amzn.to/2XZrOGP
  
• Double Sided Tape - I use this for projects, like boxes or bags, that need a really strong bond and not have glue ooze out the sides. It’s really great for acetate or glitter cardstock. • Glue Dots - I use these for things I want to stick to a hard surface or plastic and still be able to peel it off. Example a butterfly die cut on a tube of lipgloss as a party favor. It will peel off clean and easily. Link to Buy: https://amzn.to/2XPk5A0
  
• Glossy Accents - I use this for adhering heavy embellishments. I also use it to give an image a glossy glass look. It takes a while to dry. I have also used it to adhere German glass glitter to die cuts. It holds great. Link to Buy: https://amzn.to/2XT78F9

  ~ Xyron 1.5” Sticker Maker - I use this for really thin small and tiny pieces or lettering. Some times the Squeeze and Roll glue pen doesn’t get the job done. Just run the die cut through and it has a layer of adhesive on the back. Simple!
  ~ Xyron Creative Station Lite - I don’t use this as much as the 1.5”, because I usually just use TomBow or a tape runner. When I do use it, it is for large die cuts that I’m going to add loose glitter or flocking powder to. The glitter doesn’t shed if you burnish it down and the flocking looks great!
  
• Ad-Tech Permanent Crafter's Tape aka tape runner - I don’t really use a tape runner much because I usually use too much and run out mid project. • Pink ATG Tape Glue Gun - last but not least... I use this for bigger projects that need a strong bond that is flexible and not stiff and that is going to use a lot of adhesive. Such as mini book assembly, lots of party favor boxes or bags or party decor. You can certainly use it as an everyday adhesive, many do... I just don’t because of my wrist. In conclusion... you need a wet glue, a tape type of adhesive and foam squares/dots in your stash.

3. Mini Martha Stewart Scoring Board - I like using it to score my card bases and to score lines on anything else that needs a score line. 
4. Foam Pop Dots / Foam Tape / Foam Squares - I have a a nice little variety of these. I have white and black foam squares and I have a roll of foam tape. These give your diecuts dimension instead of your cards looking flat. / https://amzn.to/2Se3AK6
5. Tim Holtz ruler - I like this ruler because it has a center measuring ruler side to help you find the center point of something. Very useful for me. I use this a lot to make sure my card mat layers are centered. / https://amzn.to/2WDYCWu
6. Tim Holtz Glass Media Mat - This is a new item to my favorites. I really, really love it! I even got the too kit with the scraper and guide. It repels most everything I have used on it and it makes blending Distress Inks and Distress Oxides a breeze. / https://amzn.to/2TnbAWx
7. Paper Trimmer - I like the Tim Holtz aka Tonic Guillotine trimmer to cut many sheets at once. I like to use the Cricut paper trimmer for when I want to cut down my scraps and only one sheet of paper. / https://amzn.to/2Tp5l4j
8. Cricut XL Scraper - I use this for burnishing cardstock down to my cutting mat, to burnish transfer tape to vinyl and to get a good contact between cardstock and glue. I seem to use it for everything, but a scraper. / https://amzn.to/2RWKYPs
9. Speedball Brayer - I really like to use this tool for ink techniques and when not using it for ink, I like to use it to "steamroll" over my layered images to make sure everything gets a good contact. / https://amzn.to/2TlYo4b
