Snow Village Mason Jar Shape Card - Design Space Cut File

It's a SUPER sparkly and shimmery shape card!! This card I designed using 3 different cards - image below - that are available in the Cricut Access Subscription. I sliced, diced and welded the 3 images. You can watch my YouTube video on how I created this card by Clicking Here. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube Channel!

The 3 Cricut card images I used

I used Cricut brand glitter cardstock in white for the back layer so it would look like snow. Then I used Smooch Spritz in Vanilla Shimmer on the blue card stock to help it not look so blah. I noticed that after the Smooch Spritz dried it looked like falling snow... NICE!! I also used Cricut brand Pearl Paper in Silver for the jar lid. The light blue piece is pop dotted to add dimension. The sentiment is Write Then Cut using Cricut font Don Juan.

Thank you for visiting my blog and I hope that if you use this file that you will share your finished card with me. :)

The Holidays Are Almost Over Hang In There Cat Card - Cricut Design Space Cut File

I thought the idea for this card was too cute! I got the idea from a meme I seen on Facebook. I thought the kitty cat hanging from the line of stockings would have been so cute, and as you can see it IS!! The image was made using Cricut images and a writing style font that are included in the Cricut Access image library subscription. I used two images to make the kitty cat and link of stockings. I did a little slice and weld magic and voila! Super cute holiday card! The sentiment is written by the Explore using Cricut writing style font Kyden.

On the Edge Angel Christmas Card Design Space Cutting File

Here's my on the edge angel Christmas card I designed in Design Space using an angel that is included in the Cricut Access subscription. I used Cricut brand glitter cardstock in gold, Cricut brand Pearl Paper in Scarlet and Forest. The glitter paper cut like butter, and very little glitter shed. The intricate swirl designs in the wing and dress cut out of the pearl paper nicely. The card base I used Neenah Metallic White Gold cardstock.

Santa's Magic Key Write Then Cut Design Space Cutting File

I designed this Santa's Magic Key last year. I used all Cricut images and fonts that are included in the Cricut Access subscription. The key is from Michael's $1.50 bin and I added the gold glitter to the key using Glossy Accents. The glitter sheds a little, but that's the fun of glitter getting it all over the place HAHA!!

The poem is written by the Explore and says:
Dear Santa,
There's no chimney here you see,
so here's a special magic key.
Use this key on Christmas eve,
and put it back before you leave.
There are 2 sets of holes for the ribbon to be threaded through. You tie a nice little bow around the key, then pull the tail ends through of the ribbon through the 2 sets of holes. Then you tie a knot on the back and then make a loop by tying another bow at the top. Then you can hang Santa's Magic Key from a door knob or hook or anywhere.

Basic Door Knob Hanger Treat Box - Design Space Cut File

It's always good to have a box that is unique and versatile in your collection. This door knob hanger treat box can be used for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthday, or any other holiday or event. You just add your own embellishments to spruce it up and to give it a theme. My example above is just basic to show it put together.

I designed this using all FREE basic images in Design Space. No subscription required to cut the file.

The completed project is 10 1/2" tall and 4 1/8" wide. The treat box itself is 4 1/8'"wide and 4 3/8" tall and 2" deep. It's a pretty basic design and once all cut out you will see how it goes together.

Magical Christmas Elf Door - Design Space Cut File

Do you do Elf on a Shelf? I designed a magical Christmas Elf door for your elf to get to and from the North Pole, and your child can receive behavior report mail from Santa! The cutting file is designed using all Cricut images that are available in the Cricut Access subscription. I cut the base of my door from 2 layers of chipboard to help it to be sturdy and stand up without bowing over. Then I cut another base layer from Neenah shimmer cardstock and dry embossed it using my Cuttlebug and the brick wall embossing folder from Tim Holtz Alterations series. Then I cut the window out of acetate. When you put the layers together make sure you do not glue the area below the mail slot too far up, otherwise you won't be able to stick the envelope in the mail slot. Most of the papers I used were either glitter or shimmer. The roof was embossed with a stone tile embossing folder. For my tree I opted to not cut the little berries and to just use adhesive backed rhinestones. All of the layers after the door layers are pop dotted to give added dimension. I even pop dotted the roof, the peppermint candies, and the flower pots. I went a little crazy on the pop dottindotting. HA!

Print Then Cut Santa Behavior Report
My door is 6 inches tall. You can make yours bigger. The envelope measures around .875 inches wide and 1.125 inches long. The envelope contains a tiny printed behavior report from Santa, that can be filled out. I have included the Print Then Cut file below. Pretty Paper Saver aka Window Mosaic Grid - Design Space File

Have you ever had a pretty piece of paper that had a scene or image that was too pretty to cut up? Well, I have designed a Design Space file using all free basic shapes that will showcase and make it the focal point of the card. I call it the Pretty Paper Saver aka Window Mosaic Grid. The file will slice the paper into 1"x1" squares that does not waste any of the pretty paper. You then place those 1'"x1" squares into the grid in order like a puzzle. This is a very verstile file that can be used in many different ways. My examples above show it using a pretty piece of paper that the image is the focal point, and the other is using all scrap pieces of paper and make a patch work grid.

Special Delivery Christmas Tag - Design Space Write and Cut File

This Special Delivery Christmas gift tag was designed in Cricut Design Space to utilize the drawing/writing feature for the Cricut Explore. Everything is written by the Explore and the tag shape is the only thing that is cut out. I used a slew of different writing style Cricut fonts, so if you download the file you will need the subscription to cut it. Otherwise, it will charge an insane amount because of all the different fonts I used.

The tag measures 3.25" X 5". It took about 15 minutes for it to write and cut. The writing on my tag would have looked better if I had pens that did not bleed, but those were the only pens I had in the colors needed.

Witch Legs and Broom Halloween Banner - Design Space File

This file was designed using all Cricut images that are included in the Cricut Access subscription. Pennant size for the witch legs are 10 3/4 inches tall. The slits on the pennants are sized for 5/8 inch ribbon. If you resize the image the slits will no longer be sized for 5/8 inch wide ribbon. The shoes are meant to be pop dotted from the base to give added dimension. The skirt would look cute in a nice Halloween pattern.

Corset Pocket Invitation Card with Tag - Design Space File

I designed this lace up corset pocket invite card with tag using all Cricut images and basic shapes. If you have the subscription you will be able to cut the Design Space file below. This pocket card would be great for a wedding or bachelorette invitation. Event details can be added to the pull out tag.

My version is really shimmery as I used a lot of shimmer cardstock. The W on my tag was written by the Explore using Ranger Emboss It Pens, then I sprinkled Snow white embossing powder and heat set it. The front piece is dry embossed with the Cuttlebug embossing folder Textile. I laced up the front of the corset BEFORE attaching the front to the back.

More on the embossing pens. They fit into the Explore without needing an adapter. They are the same size as the Cricut brand pens. I'm guessing the same manufacture makes both. The ink stays wet for at least 5 minutes, as these embossing pens saturate the paper well.

Fuzzy Sock Cupcake Gifts - Cricut

**This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.**

Each holiday season I make fuzzy sock cupcakes for the residents at the local nursing home. I like to buy the spa socks from the Dollar Tree. I usually get the non-skid socks. They come in a variety of colors.

What You Will Need:

I use my Cricut to cut out the cupcake wrappers. The wrapper should be sized to around 8 inches for the width. When resizing the wrapper, make sure the lock for ratio is locked.

You can download the Design Space file for the cupcake wrapper and tag that I used by Clicking Here to Download. You will need the Cricut Access subscription or the cartridges for the images I used in order to cut.

To make the socks into a cupcake you lay the 2 socks on top of each other, laid out. Then you roll the socks starting at the toe end making sure that each layer is 1/4 inch lower than the previous layer until you get to the other end of the sock. Then take a rubber band or hair tie and put it over the now rolled up socks. This will keep the socks rolled up. Then you gently pull the center of the roll, where the toes of the socks are. This will make a like a spiral effect, that resembles icing swirls.

Put the sock cupcake in the cupcake wrapper, and then fluff the socks some more to make sure to fill the wrapper. You can add a Pom Pom to the top to serve as a cherry on top. I put my sock cupcakes in cellophane bags and tie them closed with ribbon and a tag.

These would make great gifts or party favors.

Split Mosaic Card - Cricut Design Space File

Have you ever had a piece of patterned paper that you didn't want to cut up the pretty image, and make the image your focal point of the card, but didn't want it to look flat and plain? I have designed a Design Space file that will add some visual appeal to those types of patterned papers.

The Design Space file is created using all free basic shapes, so no subscription required to cut the file. The file contains just the card front, which is the matting layer and the sliced rectangle layer.

Linking Pumpkin Garland / Banner - Cricut Design Space File

This pumpkin garland/banner was inspired by a Martha Stewart punch. It was designed using all FREE Cricut Access images, so no subscription required to cut it. Each piece connects into the next piece, causing a linking effect. You can add more of the middle pumpkin bases to get a longer banner. The pumpkins on each end have a hole for ribbon or baker's twine, that way it can be hung up. You can resize the images to make a larger garland/banner.

The word "BOO!" is NOT included in the Design Space file.

Free 3D Oven Box Design Space File

I designed this 3D oven box using all FREE basic shapes in Cricut Design Space. My idea for the box was to be able to put a mini Cinnabon bun in it to use as a baby shower favor for Bun in the Oven theme. I designed it to be in 2 pieces so it can be resized to make a bigger box. Current size for the pull out drawer is 3" L x 2 1/4" W x 2 1/4" H. The box can be embellished many different ways. You can use a brad to act as a handle so the drawer can be pulled out easier.

Assembly video can be found in Facebook group Cricut Explore, Maker and More.

Vintage Style Santa Sack - Cricut Design Space Cut File

My most proud of file I have ever made is this vintage style Santa sack Design Space cutting file. It took me literally HOURS to compile the images and fonts for this file. It actually turned out better than I had in my head. This is a Design Space file, so you will either need the cartridges for the images and fonts I used or the subscription to cut it. I designed it to go on those large Santa sacks that everyone has been applying vinyl to and customizing with names. Some of the images, like the Inspected by Elf, might not cut out well if you cut it out smaller than it is when you save the file.

Enjoy! If you use my file, I would like it if you would share a picture of your project with me.

Sunburst Background V3 Design Space File

Version 3 of my Sunburst background Design Space files. This one is a bit easier to put together than my Version 1. This one uses 4 different patterns of 4 inch by 4 inch scrap paper. It is an A2 size (4.25" x 5.5") card. I have included a mat for you to layer the sun rays on. You will need to make your own card base. On the mat preview screen you will need to arrange the rays if you want to save paper and get them all on a 4 inch by 4 inch piece of scrap paper.

Pretty Card - Cricut & Anna Griffin

This card turned out much prettier than I had in mind. The patterned paper is from the Anna Griffin 12x12 paper stack Antique Toile Paper Pad. I embossed Cricut brand Metallic green vellum with Anna Griffin's embossing folder Chinoiserie. I used the portion of the embossing folder that has the bird and butterfly. My frame is a Cricut image from Fancy Frames, cut from gold Glitzy Glitter cardstock, and backed with a shimmery teal cardstock.

If Kisses Were Snowflakes Mixed Media Card

A mixed media card I created using ALL Cricut images from the subscription.

The snow is a stencil I cut from a Cricut image and used homemade texture paste, because I couldn't find my store bought texture paste.

For my background I used Distress Inks - Stormy Sky and Weathered Wood. I was going for an overcast cloudy sky for it to snow.

The snowman and snowwoman were cut from paper that had text on it and then I used gesso to tone down the black text and to give them some texture. Their hats and scarves were cut from Core'dinations cardstock and then lightly sanded and gesso dry brushed to give a snowy effect.

The trees were cut from white cardstock and then I colored them in with Peeled Paint Distress Ink. Then I used clear glitter embossing powder on the tree tops and drew on the trees with my embossing pen to add the clear glitter embossing powder and heat set.

The sentiment was written with Explore and hand cut.
